Flexible coMfort Through Greation
flexible, dynamic, open + creative + emotional + friendly + relaxing + Nature. There were many questions that kept us busy while thinking about the ideal workspace. We want to see the word “work” as one that encloses all of the above notions, turning it into a perfect environment: the ideal collaborative workspace. . The stresses that exists in contemporary society may never disappear, but we can provide society an environment able to reduce it, giving daily activities a friendlier dimension. The potentials of our society give us the opportunity to help ourselves in a dynamic, quality and economic way.
Madrid gives us a lot of titillations to create the ideal workspace.
Our first priority is the ---- optimal use of all natural resources, like the sun, or the shadow (from the buildings), the green area, the dynamics of the city’s buildings, along with the ability to ... spaces and material.
Second priority is the ---- expression of The concept in action.
flexibility - reiterating the speed and continuous movement of work into a corresponding movement of our spaces.
Rails: a chance to revisit the materials and to adapt them to our needs. We use the rails as load bearing construction and tie into the functionality of the project as they will also serve our need for movement.
Cube: We want to take advantage of the multiple abilities a cube has, while improving its qualities, transforming it to a case filled with moving panels form glass/wood, or solar ones.
Dynamic play wjth the cubes – variations in the function of each block and and the ability to move and combine qualities.
The floor and the ceiling are also equipped with moving panels, allowing for endless creations. Stairs and lifts are located in the towers as well as throughout the cubes for an easier vertical connection along the different work and recreation hubs.
Office - Realization of various office groups depending on their needs, with an immediate relation between the office and the recreational playground areas.
Openness - ease in transforming the unit as a closed or an open space. The change from one unit to another happens in an external, protected area; hence, we transform our office one step closer to nature.
